STIGMATISASI DAN DESTIGMATISASI MELALUI TAGAR GERAKAN NONTON BIOSKOP SENDIRIAN DI TWITTER

Studi ini bertujuan untuk memetakan dan mengidentifkasi upaya stigmatisasi dan destigmatisasi dibalik percakapan daring di Twitter tentang Gerakan Nonton Bioskop Sendirian yang direpresentasikan melalui tagar #GerakanNontonBioskopSendirian. Untuk mengetahui bagaimana narasi stigmatisasi dan destigmatisasi mengemuka di ruang online, data percakapan Twitter yang melibatkan 7529 pengguna dianalisis dengan metode analisis jejaring semantik dimana aktor berbasis pada kata atau teks dan interkoneksi antaraktor merupakan jejaring antarkata yang membentuk narasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa adanya gerakan nonton bioskop sendirian menyiratkan pengakuan dimana kesendirian dalam melakukan aktivitas publik yang hedonistik seperti nonton film di bioskop beresiko didiskreditkan. Namun demikian, gerakan melawan stigma yang muncul mengindikasikan bahwa ruang digital memberi peluang instan untuk kontra wacana. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen status berupa perlakukan diri terhadap identitas single seseorang dan motivasi menaklukan rasa malu terhadap kesendirian berperan penting dalam upaya destigmatisasi terhadap kondisi soliter di ruang online.
