Children in Conflict with the Law (CCL) is one of the children's problems concerning the Indonesian government. CCL is still young and does not yet understand the impact of what he is doing. During the juvenile criminal justice process faced by CCL, they have rights that must be protected by the state. However, not a few CCL and their families understand the protection of their rights. This descriptive qualitative research uses literature study techniques originating from state documents regarding regulations that contain protection for CCL. The results of this study illustrate that there are 15 important points regarding the rights of CCL which are protected by the state and listed in Law No. 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System. Protection for CCL has been regulated and is the responsibility of the government and parties in charge of handling ABH, such as social workers, correctional center assistants, police, prosecutors, judges, and other parties accompanying juvenile criminal justice processes. Anyone who violates the protection for CCL will receive strict sanctions by the applicable laws and regulations. The recommendations from this study are that the government continues to increase public awareness and understanding of protection for CCL, enforce the law for perpetrators of violations of protection against CCL, increasing the accessibility of CCL to education, health, legal aid, employment opportunities, and policies that make it easier for them to have a better life
