PEMBERDAYAAN SOSIAL DAN EKONOMI PADA AKSEPTOR DI KAMPUNG KELUARGA BERENCANA (KB)

Abstract

Empowerment is one of the efforts to empower individuals, groups and families through empowerment programs whose aim is to improve the quality of life of the community. In fact, the implementation of the empowerment program is still not optimal and there are still many people who are not interested in participating in the empowerment program. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of social and economic empowerment of acceptors in the Family Planning Village (KB), the efforts and obstacles in the empowerment process, as well as practical and theoretical implications for the development of social welfare science. Qualitative research method with literature study data obtained from literature studies and documents that support the research. The results of the research show that the social and economic empowerment of acceptors in the Family Planning Village (KB) takes the form of activities such as being given direction, training, and providing business capital to achieve 8 family functions. However, in its implementation there are still obstacles such as limited cadres, lack of community participation, and lack of counseling. Several efforts were also made so that the empowerment in the Family Planning Village (KB) ran smoothly.
